Dr. Sheryl George was born and raised in Detroit , Michigan . She received her degree in dentistry at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She went on to pursue a specialty in pediatric dentistry at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York where she served as chief resident. She then turned her back to the snowy weather and moved to sunny Florida where she enjoys spending time with her husband when she is not working. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry , the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association. Dr. George’s aim is for every child to have a positive and fun time at the dental office while providing comprehensive and effective dental care.

Dr. Steven Berkowitz, Your Periodontist A practicing dentist for the past eight years, Dr.Berkowitz takes great pride in his work – and great care of his patients. An alumnus of Towson University in Maryland, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Remaining at UMB, Dr. Berkowitz pursued postgraduate studies in periodontics and earned a Master of Science. A member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontics and the Academy of Osseointegration, he has been honored with awards from the Northeast Society of Periodontics and the International College of Dentists. (In case you’re wondering what osseointegration is, it has to do with dental implants.) Dr. Berkowitz and his wife have four children. When he’s not at the office, he can often be found out on the tennis court or off playing his guitar.

Dr. Maria Boutsikos is a practicing general dentist, serving the residents of south Florida. Born in Hollywood, Forida, Dr Maria Boutsikos earned a bachelor of science degree in Biology before obtaining her doctor of dental medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. She is an active member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Maria Boutsikos believes in providing her patients with a comfortable, and stress free environment. Coming from a family of restaurateurs she enjoys the arts of cooking and spending quality time with her family and close friends.
